Renault Motors has finally out the 2025 Duster, marking the much-awaited comeback of one of India’s greatest SUV brands. The latest Duster shall feature a complete refresh of its exterior design paired with modern technologies and hybrid powertrains to mark its return as a competitive force in the compact SUV segment. Being the third generation, the new Duster sits on the CMF-B platform, which also serves the global models of Renault and Dacia, lending it space, strength, and sophistication.
New Striking Looks with a Rugged Identity
The 2025 Duster features an aggressive new design that stays true to its rugged roots. The front end is dominated by a wide grille with Y-shaped LED DRLs and a robust skid plate, giving the SUV a bold road presence.
Squared-off wheel arches, muscular shoulder lines, and a high beltline give it a tough and athletic profile. At the rear, the C-shaped LED tail lamps and sculpted tailgate complete its aggressive SUV stance. The Duster now measures approximately 4.34 meters in length, making it larger and more spacious than its predecessor.
Tech-Packed Cabin with Premium Touches
More than anything, in terms of the cabin, the interior has been completely modernized with a new layout and finer materials. The centerpiece is the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. In addition, these are upbeat features such as a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charging, and ambient lighting. Practicality has also been considered, with loads of storage areas present and comfort in terms of seats for long drives.
Hybrid Powertrains and Off Road Capability
A 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid and a 1.6-litre strong-hybrid variant are available under the hood with the Duster. The strong-hybrid variant can put out 140 PS and has regenerative braking and e-CVT transmission. All of this spells good news for the off-roading enthusiast as some trims come with AWD and terrain modes, along with a ground clearance of 217 mm.
Timeline for Launch and Positioning in the Market
Renault is expected to launch the 2025 Duster in India at the end of the year 2025, with prices expected to start at 10 lakh. With rugged appeal, modern features, and efficient powertrains, the new Duster will take on rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara.
